I’m honored to lead this 50-hour comprehensive Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training at Indigo Yoga Studio in Walnut Creek, California. This training is for yoga teachers, students with 2-years of practice, midwives, doulas and other health professionals who are interested in teaching yoga to expecting parents.

This Prenatal Teacher Training program invites students to utilize the practice of yoga to support pregnant mamas and new parents physically, mentally and emotionally. By training teachers, it is our hope to grow our community and increase awareness that prenatal yoga can be an integral part of the pregnancy experience.

Make a Difference in Someone’s Life:

“I started taking prenatal yoga at Indigo at 20 weeks and continued until ~38 weeks. I found not only yoga but a community of mothers to share advice, worries, and even baby items! I looked forward to my weekly classes as my self-care time to just focus on my pregnancy. As for birthing, even though I opted for an epidural, I credit my short pushing time as a first-time mother to all of the exercises I learned from class.”

“Prenatal yoga with Roxanna was a great decision. It was a set time of the week for me to take care of my body and connect with the growing baby and other new moms. It also gave me a sense of community and ceremony in an evolving world. She prepared us for labor in a gentle and honest way and was so respectful and joyful for all different customs and choices about having a baby.

I’m a first time mom with no family close by and the other benefit was the sense of community that the classes foster. Being able to connect with other moms was crucial to my wellbeing and health as a pregnant woman and new mother. I’ve even made friends from this class. Every pregnant person in the Walnut Creek area should take this class to prepare for labor and find connection in motherhood.”
